1877 artwork (2012 - 2018)
These EP sleeves were cropped and enhanced in Photoshop. The '1877' logo was originally created by adjusting the tracking of the font before making a stencil from it. It was further degraded in quality through repeated photocopying. Photographs all original - artwork created for CD and vinyl pressings.
Crescendo - Sideways to the Night' LP (2019)
Crescendo, aka Dan Akerman and Jonson Walker, are a duo who asked me to design artwork for their debut album for a vinyl pressing. Dan was clear with the brief, having found a pattern in an old science book that he liked but wanted 'dirtying up' to create a retro, 70's look. The font also calls back to Factory Records-era design, a perfect representation of the music on the record.
CM Waves Music (2018)
This design was chosen to represent the 80's-influenced music of CM Waves, aka Chris Mayhew. Chris gave me free reign to design for him so I opted for a neon-glow look to signify a nod to synthwave whilst avoiding the clichés of pink, purple and yellow. Artwork created for Spotify, iTunes and SoundCloud.
